We're excited you're here! And we want to make sure that you're getting the most out of Sigma. Below are 3 helpful suggestions to consider as you integrate Sigma into your work flow.
1- Communicate. Tell your staff, experienced jumpers and students, everyone that you'll be sending Merits to, that you've decided to use Sigma. Let them know that Sigma is a free tool that will allow them to access their Merits anytime anywhere from their computer or smart device. This can be done however you'd like, in person, an endorsement email, a blog on your website, or in the form of a newsletter. We have examples of each for you, the most commonly used method is a newsletter, so, we've written a standard newsletter you to edit, change, or use as is.
We've also created a printable pamphlet that explains how to to setup and accept Merits that can be printed and handed out, or posted.
2- Create a Merit Template that can be sent to your entire team, such as an "Employee", "Member, or "Staff" Merit and Send it to your entire team. This extra time and soft introduction to your team will give opportunity for a smooth on-boarding and provide an opportunity for your team to ask questions.
3- Schedule a regular time to update/enter/send Merits. Depending on what you're using Sigma for, this might mean that Merits are being sent or updated as often as daily or as little as a few times a season.
